FAQs

What is your children’s ticket policy?
At this show, children of all ages are welcome and children under the age of one will be admitted without charge to sit on an adult’s lap. Playhouse Square does not censor performances or make any guarantees of show content. We encourage parents to use their discretion when deciding if a show is appropriate for their child. Regardless of age, all children must be seated with an adult and children over the age of one must have a ticket. Any person disrupting a performance or inhibiting the enjoyment of an event for guests may be removed from the theater without refund.

What else can we do while visiting?
We have great workshops and activities planned for Family Theater Day. Please check back soon for details!

What should I do if members of my party become separated?
If members of your party become separated, report to the nearest House Manager (you will find a House Manager in every theater), a uniformed security officer or a member of the Playhouse Square staff. We will assist you in becoming reunited.

How do I access first aid assistance?
House Managers can provide bandages, cough drops, aspirin and other first aid items for minor bumps, bruises, cuts and headaches. They also can assist with medical emergencies if needed. There is a House Manager office located in the lobby of each theater.

Is there a lost and found?
If you are in a theater, check with the House Manager; he or she will help you find your lost item. If you are elsewhere on the Playhouse Square campus, please report your loss to a uniformed security officer or member of the Playhouse Square staff wearing a Family Theater Day T-shirt.

Can I take photos?
We encourage you to take photos outside and in our theater lobbies, however for all shows, the taking of photographs and use of recording devices during the performance is strictly prohibited. If you are taking photos during theater day and posting on social media channcels, use hashtag #FamilyTheaterDay. Also, don't forget to take a #GEChandelierSelfie outside on Euclid Avenue!
